Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reuben Cartwright took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jarvis Wyatt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Allan Dickens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 7 minutes into the match, Sam Richards had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Allan Dickens. Kingdom come's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sam Richards was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Casey Locke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chas Presley having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Vernon Medley kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Allan Dickens. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Atherley AFC's Chas Presley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Cartwright in the 27th minute of play. When Vernon Medley, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Allan Dickens was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sam Richards took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Dickens. Allan Dickens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 36th match minute, Kingdom come was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paris Barker to maneuver through the defense. Atherley AFC's Baudouin Burnett shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Allan Dickens but with some difficulty. Allan Dickens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vernon Medley in the 40th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vernon Medley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Atherley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brant Givens. 56 minutes into the match, Atherley AFC's Sam Richards sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Allan Dickens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reuben Cartwright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Chas Presley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vernon Medley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Dickens having to interfere. Elvis Longpré charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvis Longpré the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, one of Kingdom come:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kingdom come. Baudouin Burnett walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Atherley AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jarvis Wyatt hit a great ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Vernon Medley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kingdom come's Allan Dickens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Vernon Medley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sam Richards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Dickens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vernon Medley, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Sam Richards had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Allan Dickens. After 99 played minutes, Atherley AFC's Baudouin Burnett shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Allan Dickens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atherley AFC reached it. Atherley AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
