Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bradford Labrecque made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Marcel Currie made a precise shot to the right of Reggie Houston. Masson FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Waterloo Warriors's Marcel Currie got a free kick in the 6th minute. Paul Ferreira's late challenge caught a Waterloo Warriors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Masson FC got a freekick which was hit by Paul Ferreira. After having played for 12 minutes, Bradford Labrecque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradford Labrecque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raleigh Desruisseaux in the 13th minute of play forced Waterloo Warriors's goalkeeper Norman Dumas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Raleigh Desruisseaux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raleigh Desruisseaux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Waterloo Warriors getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gene Boisvert hit a great ball. After 24 minutes, Ronnie Lynn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Masson FC and the Waterloo Warriors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcel Currie struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Reggie Houston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waterloo Warriors. After some careless play in the Waterloo Warriors defense, Bradford Labrecque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norman Dumas. The Waterloo Warriors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norman Dumas should have stopped the shot. Marcel Currie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Reggie Houston skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Raleigh Desruisseaux struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Norman Dumas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Masson FC. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Marcel Currie made the kick off in the second half. Virgilio ForestLaforest hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dylan Castillo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Waterloo Warriors! 54 minutes into the match, Thurman Givens notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Waterloo Warriors's Norman Dumas. Norman Dumas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raleigh Desruisseaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Dumas having to interfere. Raleigh Desruisseaux's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Norman Dumas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Waterloo Warriors's goalkeeper Norman Dumas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes in the game, Bradford Labrecque fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Norman Dumas having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Dannie Gunter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waterloo Warriors and the Masson FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raleigh Desruisseaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Norman Dumas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Masson FC's Bradford Labrecque in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waterloo Warriors's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Waterloo Warriors getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Dave Rossignol hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradford Labrecque in the 88th minute of play forced Waterloo Warriors's goalkeeper Norman Dumas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reggie Houston came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Waterloo Warriors's Dannie Gunter. But to his dismay, Dannie Gunter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Raleigh Desruisseaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Masson FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raleigh Desruisseaux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norman Dumas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
