Duncan Puckett started the match with the kick off. Lucien Steiner hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Duncan Puckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dirk Pina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Trimble having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Dirk Pina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aylesford AFC's Marcel Trimble was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Donn Vertefeuille fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edgar FC's protests and gave Donn Vertefeuille a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aylesford AFC booed when Edgar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donn Vertefeuille didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aylesford AFC's goalkeeper Marcel Trimble, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dirk Pina might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Trimble. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dirk Pina ran back to his position shaking his head. If Dirk Pina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes Aylesford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jae Lemieux. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Hines in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Trimble prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jae Lemieux hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Marcel Trimble showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Hines, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Aylesford AFC's Marcel Trimble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Pina in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Hines in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Trimble prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clint Gipson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Duncan Puckett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dirk Pina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carson Chu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duncan Puckett, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Simon Hines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edgar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Hines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Aylesford AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dirk Pina fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marcel Trimble showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Hines, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 84th match minute, Aylesford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clint Gipson to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Trimble stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Hines's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Marcel Trimble made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirk Pina in the 87th minute. Dirk Pina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Trimble having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Hines in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Trimble saved Aylesford AFC from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Simon Hines got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 94 in the game by Dirk Pina from a close distance when the talented Marcel Trimble managed to make a qualified save. Aylesford AFC's players were relieved. Dirk Pina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
