Spectators: 7916 (Terracing: 6013, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 60) In the 6th minute Colombain Sharp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Carrier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kenora getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Morris Romo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kenora's zone, Célestin Panetier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guy Carrier came out of the goal and Célestin Panetier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Célestin Panetier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Guy Carrier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colombain Sharp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guy Carrier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colombain Sharp, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Kenora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Childers to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Kenora's goal looked a bit too open when Colombain Sharp came free, but Guy Carrier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Colombain Sharp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shillington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Colombain Sharp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Guy Carrier managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Shillington's Célestin Panetier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Colombain Sharp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guy Carrier was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Emmett Shipp capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emmett Shipp really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Joseph Lacharité fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Turner having to interfere. A collision led to Shillington getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Emmett Shipp hit a great ball. Simon Turner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joseph Lacharité's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josue Howe was the one to do the kick off. Guy Carrier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colombain Sharp in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Onesime Robillard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guy Carrier skillfully saved the ball. Célestin Panetier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Carrier having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emmett Shipp in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guy Carrier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emmett Shipp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Guy Carrier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Shillington's Célestin Panetier in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kenora's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th match minute, Kenora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morris Romo to maneuver through the defense. Colombain Sharp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guy Carrier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. If Célestin Panetier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Colombain Sharp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shillington's supporters rose to their feet, but Colombain Sharp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guy Carrier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shillington's Célestin Panetier got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kenora's Guy Carrier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colombain Sharp in the 96th minute of play. If Colombain Sharp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 98th minute, Célestin Panetier made a precise shot to the right of Guy Carrier. Kenora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Shillington fully deserved thier win.
