A collision led to Atherley AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Brant Givens hit a great ball. Cole Christiansen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Larry Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Atherley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jarvis Wyatt. Atherley AFC's Chas Presley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Atherley AFC from getting a goal against them. If Larry Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Larry Silva fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Chas Presley, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Brant Givens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atherley AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brant Givens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robt Lachapelle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Larry Silva got free with Chas Presley in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Vernon Medley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robt Lachapelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to BrVan getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cristopher Lyon hit a great ball. BrVan's Robt Lachapelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vernon Medley in the 40th minute of play. Robt Lachapelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Richards in the 41st minute of play. Larry Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Vernon Medley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Robt Lachapelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sam Richards might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robt Lachapelle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sam Richards ran back to his position shaking his head. Larry Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brant Givens hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Sam Richards dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robt Lachapelle, 0-1. 79 minutes into the game, Sam Richards cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Robt Lachapelle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Atherley AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Vernon Medley hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vernon Medley in the 86th minute of play forced BrVan's goalkeeper Robt Lachapelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vernon Medley spun around in front of the goal 86 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of BrVan's goal. If Larry Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atherley AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
