Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Shillington's Colombain Sharp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Colombain Sharp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reggie Houston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reggie Houston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colombain Sharp, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Colombain Sharp sped through Masson FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reggie Houston. After 16 minutes, Leland Deserres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shillington and the Masson FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Shillington got a freekick which was hit by Leland Deserres. Reggie Houston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colombain Sharp in the 28th minute of the match. If Célestin Panetier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes, Modesto Springer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Masson FC and the Shillington players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Shillington booed when Masson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Springer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reggie Houston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colombain Sharp in the 36th minute of play. Shillington's Neil Howard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reggie Houston in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 42 played minutes Masson FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Springer. In the 44th minute Leland Deserres suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Gabriel Hatcher kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bradford Labrecque was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Raleigh Desruisseaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Turner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bradford Labrecque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes, Emmett Shipp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shillington and the Masson FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emmett Shipp hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Reggie Houston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Célestin Panetier went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Célestin Panetier's late challenge caught a Masson FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Célestin Panetier helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Shillington's zone, Bradford Labrecque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Turner came out of the goal and Bradford Labrecque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Célestin Panetier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombain Sharp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Reggie Houston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neil Howard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paul Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Masson FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Paul Ferreira hit a great ball. Édouard Lampron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Reggie Houston made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Emmett Shipp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shillington's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmett Shipp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reggie Houston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th match minute, Masson FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Édouard Lampron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Reggie Houston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hank Foote fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shillington's protests and gave Hank Foote a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Shillington got a freekick which was hit by Hank Foote. Colombain Sharp was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Shillington's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Masson FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Shillington were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
