Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Claudio Queen made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Cupar's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Spence came free, but Peter Chaussée reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Percy Stafford got free with Isaac Whitmore in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaac Whitmore made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Percy Stafford sent off a good shot on target. If Claudio Queen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Jeffers, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 24th minute Israel Hannah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Chaussée saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Queen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Whitmore having to interfere. Griswold's Isaac Whitmore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Griswold from getting a goal against them. When Claudio Queen came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Cupar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Queen couldn't finish the play. Griswold's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Claudio Queen scored to the left of an out of position Isaac Whitmore, making the score, 1-0. Claudio Queen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kurt Spence was the one to do the kick off. Isaac Whitmore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humbert Temple, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Percy Stafford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Griswold's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Queen came free, but Isaac Whitmore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes, Humbert Temple mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cupar and the Griswold players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cupar's Humbert Temple got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Israel Hannahs short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Peter Chaussée to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66th minute Claudio Queen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Whitmore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trinidad Stark during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Griswold getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Trinidad Stark hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Percy Stafford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cupar's supporters rose to their feet, but Percy Stafford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Whitmore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Percy Stafford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Cupar's Percy Stafford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Whitmore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Peter Chaussée made an important save on a dangerous shot by Israel Hannah in the 79th minute. Griswold's Kurt Spence got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlo Dodson kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Claudio Queen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Whitmore having to make a save. 95 minutes into the match, Griswold's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Queen came free, but Isaac Whitmore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Cupar were the better team. Cupar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
