Hugo Talon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Glenn Westbrook kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Léon Beauchamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Pinneau having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cordoba City's zone, Hunter Dennison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Talon came out of the goal and Hunter Dennison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Léon Beauchamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lincoln Pinneau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Howard Friedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordoba City's Hugo Talon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Howard Friedman in the 27th minute of play. Léon Beauchamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Pinneau having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Whitehead AFC's zone, Rémi Gousse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lincoln Pinneau came out of the goal and Rémi Gousse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Whitehead AFC's Hunter Dennison in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cordoba City's goalie prevented a goal. Hunter Dennison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hunter Dennison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hunter Dennison might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Talon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hunter Dennison ran back to his position shaking his head. Hugo Talon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Howard Friedman's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Howard Friedman made a kick off. Hugo Talon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hunter Dennison in the 52nd minute of the match. Hugo Talon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Howard Friedman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floyd Hendrix hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Cordoba City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Judd to maneuver through the defense. Whitehead AFC's Albert Pinneau was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Talon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Howard Friedman came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Whitehead AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Howard Friedman couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Adolfo Duhamel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Howard Friedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hunter Dennison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Talon having to interfere. Hunter Dennison who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Hugo Talon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hunter Dennison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Talon having to interfere. Léon Beauchamp charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Léon Beauchamp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hugo Talon. When the final whistle sounded Whitehead AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cordoba City.
