The supporters of Cupar booed when MancityBlues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Dufure didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, MancityBlues's goal looked a bit too open when Percy Stafford came free, but Carrol Villalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, MancityBlues's Neil Dufure got a free kick in the 21st minute. Carrol Villalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Queen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of MancityBlues booed when Cupar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 41st minute, Claudio Queen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carrol Villalobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Peter Chaussée showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Granville Haines, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Granville Haines in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Chaussée saved Cupar from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Claudio Queen made the kick off in the second half. In the last second Carrol Villalobos throw himself and got hold of the ball when Claudio Queen in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Chris Hall kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Peter Chaussée showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Granville Haines, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Claudio Queen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carrol Villalobos having to interfere. Neil Dufure hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Percy Stafford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carrol Villalobos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Queen's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. If Adam Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to MancityBlues getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ellsworth Langelier hit a great ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cupar reached it. Granville Haines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Peter Chaussée tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Granville Haines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cupar's Percy Stafford got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 91 minutes, Neil Dufure mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MancityBlues and the Cupar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cupar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
