Leonard Dunlap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Pinneau having to interfere. Paul Burroughs hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Albert Pinneau took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roderick Singletary. Sporting Olympique's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Howard Friedman in the 37th minute of play forced Sporting Olympique's goalkeeper Roderick Singletary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Aubrey Tharp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roderick Singletary skillfully saved the ball. Paul Burroughs charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
