Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1380, VIP seats: 120) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ray McClain took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alberto Gardner came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Olympique's Ray McClain. But to his dismay, Ray McClain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray McClain in the 17th minute of play forced Derval FC's goalkeeper Alberto Gardner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Derval FC's zone, Ray McClain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Gardner came out of the goal and Ray McClain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Israel Dunham's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Roderick Singletary skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 32 minutes, Emon Flanagan made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Olympique's Roderick Singletary tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Israel Dunham received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roderick Singletary came out and tried to block the shot, but Israel Dunham slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 36th minute. Leonard Dunlap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Gardner having to interfere. Alberto Gardner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ray McClain, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Ray McClain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Dunham to make the kick off. Roderick Singletary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Dunham, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Roderick Singletary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emon Flanagan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonard Dunlap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Derval FC's zone, Leonard Dunlap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Gardner came out of the goal and Leonard Dunlap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roderick Singletary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Dunham in the 68th minute of the match. Leonard Dunlap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ray McClain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alberto Gardner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colby Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Roderick Singletary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ray McClain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Gardner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Simard, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes Derval FC got a freekick which was hit by David Thomas. Ray McClain was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sporting Olympique's Percy Simard suffered a concussion in the 94th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Colby Dominguez's late challenge caught a Sporting Olympique's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Colby Dominguez helped the player get up and apologised. Emon Flanagan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roderick Singletary having to interfere. Sporting Olympique's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Derval FC had won, even though Sporting Olympique had held more of the ball.
