Odell Atkinson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Reed Shaffer made a huge save. Luc Minton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barton McCall in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Redstone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barton McCall to maneuver through the defense. Luc Minton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isiah Dupont in the 39th minute of play. A hard shot 43 in the game by Odell Atkinson from a close distance when the talented Reed Shaffer managed to make a qualified save. Redstone's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Odell Atkinson got free with Reed Shaffer in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renard Key's late challenge caught a Yarker's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renard Key helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Yarker booed when Redstone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renard Key didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Odell Atkinson to make the kick off. Isiah Dupont hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Luc Minton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barton McCall, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barton McCall in the 85th minute of play forced Yarker's goalkeeper Luc Minton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Yarker's goalkeeper Luc Minton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renard Key.
