Spectators: 8070 (Terracing: 6054, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adolphe Tipton kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolphe Tipton in the 5th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Ervin Garrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Adolphe Tipton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sayabec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 26th match minute, Sayabec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Hackett to maneuver through the defense. Adolphe Tipton scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ervin Garrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ervin Garrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnathon Roche went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Ervin Garrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clyde Smith in the 37th minute of the match. River Plate's Ervin Garrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clyde Smith in the 43rd minute of play. Ervin Garrett came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Sayabec's Johnathon Roche. But to his dismay, Johnathon Roche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Percy Ruth made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Clyde Smith ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ervin Garrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The supporters of River Plate booed when Sayabec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Margand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jame Melton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Percy Ruth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Dean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, River Plate's goalkeeper Ervin Garrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Hackett. Ervin Garrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randy Lessard in the 66th minute of play. River Plate's Ervin Garrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolphe Tipton in the 71st minute of play. Lyle McGill's late challenge caught a Sayabec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lyle McGill helped the player get up and apologised. Lyle McGill hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by River Plate's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johnathon Roche was slow to take the kick. During this time Sayabec's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Clyde Smith almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but River Plate's Ervin Garrett did a great save. 76 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathon Roche came free, but Ervin Garrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clyde Smith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ervin Garrett made a huge save. After 78 minutes, Clyde Smith made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. River Plate's Ervin Garrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Adolphe Tipton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ervin Garrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolphe Tipton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ervin Garrett. That made the score 0-11 in the 90 minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Sayabec's Clyde Smith nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ervin Garrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. When the final whistle sounded Sayabec left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than River Plate.
