The supporters of Portugal FC booed when Albany AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Herman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Nadeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorsey Landis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Frederic Jimenez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Leonel Nadeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorsey Landis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31stth minute of the game Leonel Nadeau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albany AFC's Frederic Jimenez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ambroise Winters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonel Nadeau kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frederic Jimenez. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ollie Stahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ollie Stahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederic Jimenez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joël John to make the kick off. Leonel Nadeau scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederic Jimenez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th match minute, Albany AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toney McAllister to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Leonel Nadeau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Nadeau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederic Jimenez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dorsey Landis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Nadeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Frederic Jimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Portugal FC's William Begin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal FC from getting a goal against them. Frederic Jimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ollie Stahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Portugal FC's Leonel Nadeau in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albany AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Frederic Jimenez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Nadeau in the 73rd minute of the match. Frederic Jimenez came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal FC's Ambroise Winters. But to his dismay, Ambroise Winters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. William Begin made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Humberto Herman sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, Ambroise Winters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Frederic Jimenez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the match, Albany AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Nadeau came free, but Frederic Jimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Vaillancourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederic Jimenez having to interfere. Albany AFC's Frederic Jimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Nadeau in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Albany AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Nadeau came free, but Frederic Jimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Portugal FC fully deserved thier win.
