Spectators: 7948 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 100) Cliffside's Buford Lanteigne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnot's Auguste Couture proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Arnot from getting a goal against them. After 9 minutes, Tristan Starnes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arnot and the Cliffside players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Arnot's Tristan Starnes got a free kick in the 9th minute. Adolphe Winn hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Gerardo Haines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Knowles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Terence Elliot during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cliffside getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Terence Elliot hit a great ball. Louis Graham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Buford Lanteigne came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Cliffside fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Buford Lanteigne couldn't finish the play. Auguste Couture made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Adolphe Winn sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolphe Winn got free with Auguste Couture in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Auguste Couture didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Arnot's Auguste Couture played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buford Lanteigne in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 51 minutes of play, Cliffside's Truman Whitman made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Auguste Couture was left in no man's land by his defense there! Auguste Couture showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Truman Whitman, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Arnot's goal looked a bit too open when Adolphe Winn came free, but Auguste Couture reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Buford Lanteigne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cliffside's supporters crossed their fingers, but Buford Lanteigne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Louis Graham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Haines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Martin Knowles made a huge save. The supporters of Arnot booed when Cliffside was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terence Elliot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Knowles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Graham's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Adolphe Winn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Auguste Couture tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match Duncan Paulson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Auguste Couture showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dario Velasquez lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cliffside! In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Arnot. Donat Rushing stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Martin Knowles. 3-1. Arnot's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
