Ervin Garrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ervin Garrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odell Atkinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Odell Atkinson fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yarker's protests and gave Odell Atkinson a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Yarker got a freekick which was hit by Odell Atkinson. Odell Atkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ervin Garrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odell Atkinson in the 57th minute of play. Ervin Garrett made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Odell Atkinson sent off a good shot on target. Ben Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ervin Garrett having to interfere. Odell Atkinson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Ervin Garrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 65 minutes into the game, Yarker's Odell Atkinson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yarker's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yarker walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
