Myron Mendez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Nadeau in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Myron Mendez saved Tlell from getting behind. Myron Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambroise Winters in the 13th minute of play. Saul Driscoll kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. William Begin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Boisvert in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Leonel Nadeau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Myron Mendez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Tlell's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Nadeau came free, but Myron Mendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Nadeau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Myron Mendez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Leonel Nadeau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Nadeau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Myron Mendez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Nadeau's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Leonel Nadeau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tlell's Myron Mendez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ollie Stahl took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Myron Mendez. Myron Mendez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Myron Mendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Nadeau, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Myron Mendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ollie Stahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Nadeau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Myron Mendez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Nadeau to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Leonel Nadeau reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Myron Mendez. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 56th minute of the match, Leonel Nadeau tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Myron Mendez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 57 minutes into the match, Tlell's goal looked a bit too open when Ollie Stahl came free, but Myron Mendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonel Nadeau kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Myron Mendez. That made the score 0-5 in the 61 minute of play. Tlell's Myron Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ollie Stahl in the 67th minute of play. Tlell's Myron Mendez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Tlell from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute Ambroise Winters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Myron Mendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Nadeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorsey Landis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Myron Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonel Nadeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorsey Landis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Myron Mendez having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Leonel Nadeau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tlell's Myron Mendez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 played minutes Leonel Nadeau rounded Tlell's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. Portugal FC played a much better game than Tlell and deserved their victory. The Tlell players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
