He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Albany AFC reached it. Humberto Herman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Myron Mendez made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Joël John kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Myron Mendez. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. A collision led to Albany AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Toney McAllister hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, Albany AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaétan Cyr to maneuver through the defense. In the 34thth minute of the game Joachim Peralta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albany AFC's Frederic Jimenez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Humberto Herman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joël John received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Myron Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kasey Joyner fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tlell's protests and gave Kasey Joyner a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Tlell got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Joyner. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joël John made a kick off. The referee ignored Tlell's protests and gave Saul Driscoll a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Saul Driscoll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Albany AFC's goalkeeper Frederic Jimenez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lon Dupéré.
