Spectators: 7905 (Terracing: 5974, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeromy Bishop took the kick off in the first half of the match. Troy Brandt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Troy Brandt's late challenge caught a Cliffside's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Troy Brandt helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Yellow Jackets FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Troy Brandt hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, Cliffside was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Truman Whitman to maneuver through the defense. In the 14thth minute of the game Jeromy Bishop who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cliffside's Martin Knowles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Knowles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Adolphe Winn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Buford Lanteigne in the 19th minute of play forced Yellow Jackets FC's goalkeeper Kevin Hurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolphe Winn came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kevin Hurt could save by the left post. Buford Lanteigne kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Troy Brandt struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Martin Knowles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yellow Jackets FC. A hard shot 38 in the game by Adolphe Winn from a close distance when the talented Kevin Hurt managed to make a qualified save. Yellow Jackets FC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Yellow Jackets FC's Sergio Donaldson got a free kick in the 40th minute. With his leg Kevin Hurt managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Cliffside's Adolphe Winn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Martin Knowles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeromy Bishop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Yellow Jackets FC's Jeromy Bishop got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Yellow Jackets FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Donaldson.

If Jeromy Bishop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buford Lanteigne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jeromy Bishop's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Knowles was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 68th minute, Troy Brandt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Troy Brandt could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Martin Knowles however easily saved by the left post. In the 72nd match minute, Yellow Jackets FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ty Ross to maneuver through the defense. Martin Knowles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeromy Bishop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Troy Brandt struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. A wasted opportunity for Yellow Jackets FC. 87 minutes into the match, Yellow Jackets FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolphe Winn came free, but Kevin Hurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cliffside's Martin Knowles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Cliffside from getting a goal against them. Jeromy Bishop's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Knowles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The Cliffside fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yellow Jackets FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
