Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Monroe Hanley started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Nadeau in the 5th minute of play forced Orangeville SC's goalkeeper Gino Fontaine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Fontaine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Nadeau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gino Fontaine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Nadeau, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ambroise Winters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Fontaine having to interfere. Chi Lilly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but William Begin made a huge save. Ollie Stahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Leonel Nadeau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ambroise Winters blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gino Fontaine having to make a save. Leonel Nadeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gino Fontaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Portugal FC booed when Orangeville SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabien Grove didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Leonel Nadeau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerold Dick during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gino Fontaine came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal FC's Ambroise Winters. But to his dismay, Ambroise Winters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Orangeville SC's Gino Fontaine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Nadeau in the 43rd minute of play. Ollie Stahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Nadeau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Portugal FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dorsey Landis hit a great ball. Portugal FC's William Begin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paris Vaillancourt in the 53rd minute of play. With 55 minutes on the clock, Jerold Dick commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Portugal FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Seymour Giroux hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Ambroise Winters made a precise shot to the right of Gino Fontaine. Orangeville SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 72 minutes into the game, Leonel Nadeau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orangeville SC the free kick. The supporters of Orangeville SC booed when Portugal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Nadeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Portugal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monroe Hanley came free, but William Begin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orangeville SC were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Portugal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paris Vaillancourt took the corner. After taking down the ball on Orangeville SC's corner Paris Vaillancourt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and William Begin quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Portugal FC's Ambroise Winters got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Paris Vaillancourt came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Orangeville SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paris Vaillancourt couldn't finish the play. If Ambroise Winters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Ollie Stahl dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gino Fontaine, 0-5. The supporters of Orangeville SC booed when Portugal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seymour Giroux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambroise Winters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Fontaine having to interfere. Jamaal Manley hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 100th minute Portugal FC were awarded a corner. Octavio Vaillancourt went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Portugal FC's Octavio Vaillancourt to fire away a dangerous shot which Gino Fontaine despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
