Spectators: 7983 (Terracing: 5988, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edgar Aguilera took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Larry Ratté who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico River Plate's Stefan Pierson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 4th match minute, Club Atletico River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Shipp to maneuver through the defense. Club Atletico River Plate's Stefan Pierson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larry Ratté in the 5th minute of play. Lefroy's Santo Henrichon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonzo Fowler in the 7th minute of play. If Larry Ratté had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Alfonzo Fowler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonzo Fowler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lefroy's Orville Flood got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, Club Atletico River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Shipp to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Lefroy's Mitchel Nunez tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Orville Flood who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Stefan Pierson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgar Aguilera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Orville Flood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Ratté in the 42nd minute of play forced Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Stefan Pierson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonzo Fowler struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Santo Henrichon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico River Plate. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Larry Ratté stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Larry Ratté cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Stefan Pierson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stefan Pierson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orville Flood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonzo Fowler got free with Santo Henrichon in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfonzo Fowler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Henrichon having to interfere. A collision led to Lefroy getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Larry Ratté hit a great ball. Alfonzo Fowler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Henrichon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Stefan Pierson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orville Flood in the 78th minute of the match. Edgar Aguilera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Santo Henrichon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Larry Ratté had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88th play minutes Larry Ratté shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Stefan Pierson and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lefroy had won after a very even match.
