Seating: 1854, VIP seats: 24) 7 minutes into the game, Waterloo Warriors's Christophe Blanton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Champion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Montreal FC defense, Rodger Léveillé kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Champion. The Montreal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Champion should have stopped the shot. When Emmanuel Bernard fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montreal FC's protests and gave Emmanuel Bernard a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Montreal FC got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Bernard. Paul Champion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christophe Blanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Rodger Léveillé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Paul Champion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodger Léveillé in the 22nd minute of play forced Montreal FC's goalkeeper Paul Champion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christophe Blanton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Champion having to make a save. Paul Champion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christophe Blanton went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The Montreal FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Waterloo Warriors were winning 0-5.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christophe Blanton to make the kick off. Christophe Blanton did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Paul Champion 53 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Christophe Blanton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Champion was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Paul Champion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christophe Blanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Bernard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quintin Goldberg. Waterloo Warriors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emmanuel Bernard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Paul Champion was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Christophe Blanton capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christophe Blanton really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. Paul Champion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christophe Blanton went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute, Christophe Blanton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paul Champion. The goal made the score 1-9. 1-10 became the score in the 80th minute when Christophe Blanton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Grant Vernadeau kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Paul Champion was a little too slow when Christophe Blanton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-11. In the 92nd match minute, Waterloo Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlton Echeverri to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Montreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Blanton came free, but Paul Champion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
