Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jewell McDonald started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute Emmanuel Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Hardy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pukatawagan getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ignace Bowers hit a great ball. Emmanuel Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montreal FC's Dewayne Bérard got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 20 in the game by Joey Keene from a close distance when the talented Paul Champion managed to make a qualified save. Montreal FC's players were relieved. Joey Keene could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Paul Champion made a huge save. Mauricio Hardy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Bernard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emmanuel Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Hardy having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Emmanuel Bernard made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Hardy. Pukatawagan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bertram Comer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Pukatawagan's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Bernard came free, but Mauricio Hardy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmanuel Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pukatawagan's zone, Emmanuel Bernard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Hardy came out of the goal and Emmanuel Bernard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanford Houser kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Columbus Pelletier was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dewayne Bérard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Montreal FC's Bradford Aupry quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Loyd Lehman, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Grant Vernadeau took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mauricio Hardy. Pukatawagan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Pukatawagan's Mauricio Hardy got control of the ball when Emmanuel Bernard tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pukatawagan's Miles Greenberg got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Bertram Comer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jewell McDonald in the 67th minute of play forced Montreal FC's goalkeeper Paul Champion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emmanuel Bernard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paul Champion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jewell McDonald in the 75th minute of play. Emmanuel Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Hardy having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Emmanuel Bernard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montreal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuel Bernard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The long shot by Grant Vernadeau in the 87th minute really tested Mauricio Hardy's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Dewayne Bérard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignace Bowers kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to Montreal FC's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Shirley Gunn tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Paul Champion seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. After a rather tough play, Montreal FC's Marlon Arrington got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Pukatawagan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Montreal FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
