In the 5thth minute of the game Omer Avila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TDOT FC's Malik Leon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. TDOT FC's Malik Leon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omer Avila in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Griswold's goal looked a bit too open when Johnson Slaughter came free, but Maurice Torrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omer Avila might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malik Leon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omer Avila ran back to his position shaking his head. Maurice Torrez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amédée Vick in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, TDOT FC's Johnson Slaughter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurice Torrez. Maurice Torrez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 27th minute of the match, Hollis Dozier tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maurice Torrez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leo Desaulniers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malik Leon having to interfere. Malik Leon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omer Avila, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Lewis Duran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurice Torrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnson Slaughter in the 33rd minute of the match. Malik Leon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Desaulniers in the 36th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Johnson Slaughter took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Maurice Torrez to make any attempt to save it. In the 46th minute, TDOT FC's Hollis Dozier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurice Torrez. Maurice Torrez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johnson Slaughter to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Lavern Avare in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Griswold's Carson Pina. Maurice Torrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnson Slaughter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lewis Duran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Malik Leon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lewis Duran struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Malik Leon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Griswold. In the 65th minute, Lawerence Bourque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurice Torrez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Malik Leon made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Omer Avila sent off a good shot on target. Hollis Dozier charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hollis Dozier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hollis Dozier hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, TDOT FC's goalkeeper Malik Leon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omer Avila. In the 83rd minute, Omer Avila reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Malik Leon. The goal made the score 4-1. Hollis Dozier hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the game, Johnson Slaughter landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lewis Duran during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 92 minutes, Lawerence Bourque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TDOT FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lawerence Bourque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maurice Torrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hollis Dozier in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TDOT FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Griswold had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
