The wind increased when Perceval Carmichael made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juste Chartier in the 54th minute of play forced Griswold's goalkeeper Maurice Torrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Griswold's goal looked a bit too open when Juste Chartier came free, but Maurice Torrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Juste Chartier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Maurice Torrez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fidel Sorensen kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Maurice Torrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juste Chartier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Exstew FC's zone, Omer Avila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lanny Willett came out of the goal and Omer Avila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Griswold's Jay Cordova managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Benjamin Beavers in the 83 minute of the game. Omer Avila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lanny Willett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perceval Carmichael scored 3-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurice Torrez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Omer Avila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omer Avila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lanny Willett having to interfere. Maurice Torrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perceval Carmichael in the 96th minute of the match. Exstew FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
