The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Darrin Boudreaux's late challenge caught a Waterloo Warriors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darrin Boudreaux helped the player get up and apologised. Darrin Boudreaux hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Jonas Bellamy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Waterloo Warriors defense, Jewell McDonald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quintin Goldberg. The Waterloo Warriors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quintin Goldberg should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 18 in the game by Rodger Léveillé from a close distance when the talented Mauricio Hardy managed to make a qualified save. Pukatawagan's players were relieved. 19 minutes into the match, Pukatawagan's goalkeeper Mauricio Hardy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodger Léveillé. Rodger Léveillé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodger Léveillé struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Mauricio Hardy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waterloo Warriors. In the 31stth minute of the game Christophe Blanton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pukatawagan's Mauricio Hardy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Christophe Blanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christophe Blanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jewell McDonald stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Darrin Boudreaux got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Christophe Blanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes, Waterloo Warriors's Toby Beaver shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mauricio Hardy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Waterloo Warriors reached it. Christophe Blanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christophe Blanton scored 3-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Hardy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Pukatawagan's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Blanton came free, but Mauricio Hardy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christophe Blanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christophe Blanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christophe Blanton struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Mauricio Hardy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waterloo Warriors. After a defensive mix-up in Pukatawagan's zone, Rodger Léveillé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Hardy came out of the goal and Rodger Léveillé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Christophe Blanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Eli Cox notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Pukatawagan's Mauricio Hardy. Mauricio Hardy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Waterloo Warriors's Quintin Goldberg got control of the ball when Joey Keene tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waterloo Warriors walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
