The audience thought a goal was coming when Omer Avila got free with Paul Champion in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Alec Galloway kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Leo Desaulniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Paul Champion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Bertram Comer managed to get in a good position for a shot.
