Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Omer Avila kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Impact was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micah Nickerson to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Dewitt Reed left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Impact fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Boisclair in the 10th minute of play forced Griswold's goalkeeper Maurice Torrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omer Avila struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Keneth Dufure didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Griswold. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Boisclair in the 15th minute of play forced Griswold's goalkeeper Maurice Torrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Omer Avila took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Keneth Dufure to make any attempt to save it. Maurice Torrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linwood Travis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omer Avila in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keneth Dufure saved Impact from getting behind. Linwood Travis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th match minute, Griswold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jed Vincent to maneuver through the defense. Maurice Torrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Boisclair, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Maurice Torrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Boisclair in the 34th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Impact's goalkeeper Keneth Dufure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omer Avila. Griswold's attentive Jay Cordova managed to snatch the ball when Jérémie Kane made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Linwood Travis to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Impact got a freekick which was hit by Jérémie Kane. Lewis Duran struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Keneth Dufure didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Griswold. Kim Boisclair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keneth Dufure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omer Avila in the 67th minute of the match. Kim Boisclair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Maurice Torrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Lewis Duran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Griswold's supporters rose to their feet, but Lewis Duran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keneth Dufure breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Griswold's Maurice Torrez got control of the ball when Kim Boisclair tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute Linwood Travis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Torrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kim Boisclair struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Maurice Torrez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Impact. Maurice Torrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Negron in the 80th minute of play. Leo Desaulniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82ndth minute of the game Omer Avila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Impact's Keneth Dufure was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Omer Avila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keneth Dufure was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The Griswold supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Impact's performance. The match ended with a win for Impact.
