The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lewis Duran during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lewis Duran hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Joey Keene could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Maurice Torrez made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Griswold's goal looked a bit too open when Darrin Boudreaux came free, but Maurice Torrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Hardy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omer Avila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lewis Duran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Griswold's supporters rose to their feet, but Lewis Duran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Hardy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maurice Torrez made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Joey Keene sent off a good shot on target. Mauricio Hardy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omer Avila in the 20th minute of the match. When Leo Desaulniers came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Griswold fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Desaulniers couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Griswold booed when Pukatawagan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darrin Boudreaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joey Keene could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Maurice Torrez made a huge save. Jewell McDonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Maurice Torrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Shirley Gunn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurice Torrez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jed Vincent hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Shirley Gunn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Maurice Torrez made a huge save. After 41 played minutes Griswold got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Duran. If Lewis Duran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 51st minute, Jay Cordova hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Lewis Duran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute, Lewis Duran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jed Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Keene in the 78th minute of play forced Griswold's goalkeeper Maurice Torrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omer Avila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mauricio Hardy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Griswold's Lewis Duran got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Griswold getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jed Vincent hit a great ball. When Columbus Pelletier came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Pukatawagan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Columbus Pelletier couldn't finish the play. Omer Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omer Avila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Mauricio Hardy made a huge save. When Pukatawagan's Jewell McDonald in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Griswold's goalie prevented a goal. Maurice Torrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joey Keene, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Many of Griswold's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Griswold may have spent more time on the ball, but Pukatawagan were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
