Omer Avila ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christophe Blanton in the 8th minute of play forced Griswold's goalkeeper Maurice Torrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Griswold's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Blanton came free, but Maurice Torrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Desaulniers kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Waterloo Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Willis Fluet. Leo Desaulniers hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Griswold defense, Christophe Blanton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurice Torrez. The Griswold fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurice Torrez should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodger Léveillé in the 27th minute of play forced Griswold's goalkeeper Maurice Torrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Desaulniers during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45thth minute of the game Christophe Blanton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Griswold's Maurice Torrez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omer Avila to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Waterloo Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Christophe Blanton. Christophe Blanton struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Maurice Torrez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waterloo Warriors. In the 60thth minute of the game Christophe Blanton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Griswold's Maurice Torrez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maurice Torrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christophe Blanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Griswold's Maurice Torrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodger Léveillé in the 63rd minute of play. Maurice Torrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christophe Blanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurice Torrez was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Rodger Léveillé capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodger Léveillé really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christophe Blanton in the 72nd minute of play forced Griswold's goalkeeper Maurice Torrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eli Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Torrez having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Christophe Blanton rounded Griswold's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. In the 85th minute Christophe Blanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Torrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodger Léveillé received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurice Torrez came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodger Léveillé slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Griswold's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Blanton came free, but Maurice Torrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurice Torrez made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Rodger Léveillé sent off a good shot on target. Maurice Torrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christophe Blanton in the 96th minute of play.
