After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Robert Richter managed to get in a good position for a shot. MilesMac Buckeyes's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Richter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicodème Cortes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ty Minor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodème Cortes having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Ceylon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Claude Hatch. With a little luck, MilesMac Buckeyes's Isidro Minor got control of the ball when Foster McNally tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led to Ceylon AFC's Sandy Rowell getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horace Mainville in the 24th minute of play forced MilesMac Buckeyes's goalkeeper Isidro Minor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Robert Richter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 played minutes MilesMac Buckeyes got a freekick which was hit by Ty Minor. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of MilesMac Buckeyes booed when Ceylon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Epperson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horace Mainville was the one to do the kick off. Isidro Minor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horace Mainville, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Foster McNally fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Minor having to interfere. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ceylon AFC's goalkeeper Nicodème Cortes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicodème Cortes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ty Minor in the 59th minute of the match. Isidro Minor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horace Mainville, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MilesMac Buckeyes getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. René Bédard hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horace Mainville in the 64th minute of play forced MilesMac Buckeyes's goalkeeper Isidro Minor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmer Wheeler during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, MilesMac Buckeyes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmer Wheeler to maneuver through the defense. Cordell Boggs struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Nicodème Cortes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MilesMac Buckeyes. Ceylon AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ty Minor 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The Ceylon AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MilesMac Buckeyes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
