The referee ignored Montreal Barca's protests and gave Jeffery Spencer a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Montreal Barca got a freekick which was hit by Jeffery Spencer. Kirby Shoemaker struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sandy Pépin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montreal Barca. Wiley Chambers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaylord Eason having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennie Gougeon in the 34th minute of play forced Senneville AFC's goalkeeper Sandy Pépin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Senneville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiley Chambers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Senneville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bennie Gougeon came free, but Sandy Pépin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Eddie Hoover sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Montreal Barca's Gaylord Eason didn't even have to move. 75 minutes into the match, Montreal Barca's goalkeeper Gaylord Eason had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norman Ogden. Mitch Washington recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mitch Washington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gaylord Eason tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Montreal Barca's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Washington came free, but Gaylord Eason reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, Senneville AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
