Wallace Kilgore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manual Vazquez in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Manual Vazquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jamey Cohen made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tawatinaw AFC's zone, Manual Vazquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wallace Kilgore came out of the goal and Manual Vazquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jamey Cohen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalton Bullard having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Théodore Reese was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tawatinaw AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calgary F.c the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, Tawatinaw AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Théodore Reese to maneuver through the defense. In the 72ndth minute of the game Manual Vazquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tawatinaw AFC's Wallace Kilgore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alejandro Battle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalton Bullard having to interfere. When Manual Vazquez came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Calgary F.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manual Vazquez couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Dalton Bullard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute, Cecil Goss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tawatinaw AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
