Spectators: 6961 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1861, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rex Espinosa kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Teague got free with Edmundo Bravo in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erasmo Dufure kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Hanover's goal looked a bit too open when Rex Espinosa came free, but Alphonso Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alphonso Lucas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antone Crump went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rex Espinosa struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Alphonso Lucas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itumbiara canadense FIQ. Alphonso Lucas came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Itumbiara canadense FIQ's Rex Espinosa. But to his dismay, Rex Espinosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Antone Crump might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alphonso Lucas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antone Crump ran back to his position shaking his head. Antone Crump received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Alphonso Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Hanover was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lou Jameson to maneuver through the defense. Antone Crump fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alphonso Lucas having to interfere. If Marcelo Teague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Dufure kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Itumbiara canadense FIQ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilburn Goode to make the kick off. Claud Sewell hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes of play, Hanover's Wilburn Goode made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmundo Bravo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Itumbiara canadense FIQ's Rex Espinosa got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1-4 became the score in the 62nd minute when Antone Crump elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alphonso Lucas was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Rex Espinosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rex Espinosa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Alphonso Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Hatch in the 70th minute of play. Marcelo Teague recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alphonso Lucas came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Itumbiara canadense FIQ's Antone Crump. But to his dismay, Antone Crump quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hanover's goalkeeper Alphonso Lucas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Itumbiara canadense FIQ getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Nestor Randle hit a great ball. Edmundo Bravo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Teague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre Hatch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alphonso Lucas came out and tried to block the shot, but Pierre Hatch slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 88th minute. Rex Espinosa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Itumbiara canadense FIQ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Antone Crump fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alphonso Lucas having to interfere. Marcelo Teague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Bravo having to interfere. Itumbiara canadense FIQ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
