The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Furious's Norberto Quinones got a free kick in the 5th minute. Wilfredo Huppé took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Donte Rancourt. FC Furious's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Phil Darling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Livingston in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Kill-Animals booed when FC Furious was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Quinones didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Marty Salter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donte Rancourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelley Patton in the 15th minute of the match. Donte Rancourt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kill-Animals. Donte Rancourt came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Kill-Animals's Kelley Patton. But to his dismay, Kelley Patton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Phil Darling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Livingston, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Donte Rancourt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kelley Patton's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Kelley Patton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donte Rancourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kill-Animals's Marty Salter in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Furious's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marty Salter in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donte Rancourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marty Salter was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Kill-Animals getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Guadalupe Schroeder hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marty Salter got free with Donte Rancourt in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Furious's Donte Rancourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelley Patton in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Furious's Bennie Kenny got a free kick in the 59th minute. Donte Rancourt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wilfredo Huppé. 61 minutes into the match, FC Furious's goal looked a bit too open when Kelley Patton came free, but Donte Rancourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donte Rancourt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marty Salter in the 62nd minute. Donte Rancourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guadalupe Schroeder in the 72nd minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Marty Salter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Furious's Donte Rancourt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Furious getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Steven Livingston hit a great ball. Marty Salter's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Donte Rancourt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 90th minute, Bennie Kenny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marty Salter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Donte Rancourt made a huge save. If Marty Salter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Livingston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Phil Darling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
