If Malcolm Dugan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Preston Darnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graham Spangler having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boniface Doiron got free with Elton Kilgore in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bill Mejia kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Adalberto Dill's late challenge caught a MyBigBoca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Dill helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes L.A. Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Dill. Malcolm Dugan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. L.A. Galaxy's Adalberto Dill got his second yellow card of the match in the 31st minute. The referee ordered Adalberto Dill off the ground. MyBigBoca's Ira Castillo was substituted for Theirn Mayer. In the 32nd match minute, L.A. Galaxy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Dill to maneuver through the defense. If Preston Darnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Preston Darnell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, L.A. Galaxy's Darren Gagne got a free kick in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, MyBigBoca's Preston Darnell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Graham Spangler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Darren Gagne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, L.A. Galaxy's Belaid Benmabrouk got a free kick in the 43rd minute.
The wind increased when Teodoro Lunsford made the kick off in the second half. Preston Darnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graham Spangler having to interfere. Graham Spangler made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Malcolm Dugan sent off a good shot on target. After 57 played minutes L.A. Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Waldo Shelton. Graham Spangler came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by MyBigBoca's Preston Darnell. But to his dismay, Preston Darnell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 65 minutes of play, MyBigBoca's Preston Darnell made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Graham Spangler was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Malcolm Dugan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Graham Spangler. That made the score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. Preston Darnell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Graham Spangler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Graham Spangler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hong Padgett in the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Preston Darnell managed to get in a good position for a shot. MyBigBoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Preston Darnell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Graham Spangler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Preston Darnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graham Spangler having to interfere. A collision led to L.A. Galaxy getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Darren Gagne hit a great ball. The throw-in from Işık Tanyolaç in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MyBigBoca's Gaylord Helms. With a little luck, L.A. Galaxy's Graham Spangler got control of the ball when Malcolm Dugan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 88 minutes, Waldo Shelton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the L.A. Galaxy and the MyBigBoca players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to L.A. Galaxy getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Waldo Shelton hit a great ball. When Gaylord Helms came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the MyBigBoca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaylord Helms couldn't finish the play. MyBigBoca's Gaylord Helms managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Işık Tanyolaç in the 91 minute of the game. Preston Darnell received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Graham Spangler came out and tried to block the shot, but Preston Darnell slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 93rd minute.
