After a rather tough play, Vauquelin CN's Shannon McKinnon got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Jackson Desnoyers came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Noralee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jackson Desnoyers couldn't finish the play. Arnaud Wood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lou Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lou Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaud Wood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jackson Desnoyers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lou Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaud Wood kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vauquelin CN's Granville Askew got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jackson Desnoyers, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Arnaud Wood scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lou Bergman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaud Wood received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lou Bergman came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaud Wood slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the game, Arnaud Wood recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lou Bergman. Arnaud Wood showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredric Lebel to strike the kick off in the second half. Noralee's Arnaud Wood got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Jackson Desnoyers notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Vauquelin CN's Lou Bergman. Lou Bergman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lou Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaud Wood in the 62nd minute of the match. Lenard Cook recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute Arnaud Wood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Noralee getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Weston McKinney hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Arnaud Wood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Noralee fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 74 minutes into the game, Santos Allison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vauquelin CN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noralee the free kick. Santos Allison hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vauquelin CN's zone, Arnaud Wood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lou Bergman came out of the goal and Arnaud Wood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd match minute, Vauquelin CN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mack Holley to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Vauquelin CN's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Wood came free, but Lou Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Arnaud Wood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noralee's Jackson Desnoyers got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lou Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaud Wood, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Vauquelin CN's Shannon McKinnon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leonardo Bouvier but with some difficulty. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Noralee fully deserved thier win.
