Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ceylon AF's Fidel Cadieux started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vancouver AFC's Olin Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trinidad Delacruz in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Vancouver AFC's Olin Rubio got control of the ball when Justin Course tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Fidel Cadieux fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceylon AF's protests and gave Fidel Cadieux a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Fidel Cadieux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herman Healy came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Vancouver AFC's Anibal Watson. But to his dismay, Anibal Watson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Olin Rubio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Cadieux in the 15th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Trinidad Delacruz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Olin Rubio to make any attempt to save it. Ashley Lozano's late challenge caught a Ceylon AF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ashley Lozano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vancouver AFC's Ashley Lozano got a free kick in the 21st minute. Olin Rubio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Cadieux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Vancouver AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Dawkins to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Vancouver AFC's goalkeeper Olin Rubio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justin Course. Justin Course had several of the Vancouver AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Olin Rubio as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malcolm Campbell during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Malcolm Campbell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Justin Course reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olin Rubio. The goal made the score 3-2. Vancouver AFC's Olin Rubio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Vancouver AFC from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Dawkins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Vancouver AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Roman Dawkins hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Fidel Cadieux made a precise shot to the right of Olin Rubio. Vancouver AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Anibal Watson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Dave Santiago fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Ceylon AF's Dave Santiago tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Roman Dawkins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herman Healy was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Olin Rubio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trinidad Delacruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olin Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trinidad Delacruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Cadieux in the 92nd minute of play forced Vancouver AFC's goalkeeper Olin Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vancouver AFC's Olin Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justin Course in the 94th minute of play. Olin Rubio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Cadieux went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score.
