Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fredric Lebel kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Mack Holley made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Ruth. MacKay AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to MacKay AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Duane Burnham hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Lou Bergman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 20 minutes into the game, Marion Woody recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lou Bergman. Marion Woody showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Marion Woody could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Lou Bergman made a huge save. Lou Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Cantrell in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match MacKay AFC got a corner. Vauquelin CN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gail Jimenez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ian Cantrell kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Marion Woody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marion Woody recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lou Bergman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marion Woody in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian Cantrell to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Marion Woody shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lou Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marion Woody, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Fredric Lebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes, Fredric Lebel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vauquelin CN and the MacKay AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fredric Lebel hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Vauquelin CN defense, Ian Cantrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lou Bergman. The Vauquelin CN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lou Bergman should have stopped the shot. Lou Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Cantrell in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Lebel in the 77th minute of play forced MacKay AFC's goalkeeper Ariel Ruth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damon Vernadeau hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, MacKay AFC's Gail Jimenez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vauquelin CN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! In the 91st minute, Duane Burnham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marion Woody recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Marion Woody managed to get in a good position for a shot. MacKay AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marion Woody was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lou Bergman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MacKay AFC had played much better football throughout.
