SC Dillon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ottawa Fury FC the free kick. After 3 played minutes SC Dillon got a freekick which was hit by Bobbie Gagne. Sébastien McCauley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Charlebois, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With an all-out effort, Ottawa Fury FC's Shon Vinson threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Josue Hood, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Josue Hood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Shon Vinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sylvain Patel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Dillon's Leonardo Charlebois got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Mathis Walton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes of play, SC Dillon's Leonardo Charlebois made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sébastien McCauley was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of SC Dillon booed when Ottawa Fury FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathis Walton didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Dillon's Shon Vinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josue Hood in the 38th minute of play. Josue Hood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolphe Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shon Vinson having to interfere. Shon Vinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josue Hood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Charlebois stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Rodolphe Campos came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ottawa Fury FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolphe Campos couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Josue Hood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shon Vinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Ottawa Fury FC's goalkeeper Sébastien McCauley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sylvain Patel. Kelly Boggs kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Kelly Boggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josue Hood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Shon Vinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, one of SC Dillon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ottawa Fury FC a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lou Miranda, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Dillon's Shon Vinson. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Josue Hood's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shon Vinson was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Josue Hood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shon Vinson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Charlebois in the 88th minute of play forced Ottawa Fury FC's goalkeeper Sébastien McCauley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SC Dillon getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sylvain Patel hit a great ball. Rodolphe Campos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shon Vinson having to make a save. If Rodolphe Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
