Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) MacKay AFC's Ian Cantrell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Preston Darnell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ariel Ruth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Marion Woody got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marion Woody received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Elton Kilgore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Cantrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marion Woody fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elton Kilgore having to interfere. Ariel Ruth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Preston Darnell in the 18th minute. The supporters of MyBigBoca booed when MacKay AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Spencer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Dugan took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Ruth. Ariel Ruth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, MacKay AFC's Marion Woody sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elton Kilgore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Malcolm Dugan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ariel Ruth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Marion Woody shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elton Kilgore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grover Dickson charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grover Dickson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Grover Dickson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malcolm Dugan to make the kick off. Malcolm Dugan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, MyBigBoca's Bill Mejia got a free kick in the 54th minute. Grady Watson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. MyBigBoca's Preston Darnell managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Grover Dickson in the 59 minute of the game. MyBigBoca's Elton Kilgore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save MyBigBoca from getting a goal against them. Preston Darnell struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ariel Ruth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MyBigBoca. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Preston Darnell managed to get in a good position for a shot. MyBigBoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Preston Darnell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Ruth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Preston Darnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Ruth having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Marion Woody got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute Preston Darnell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Ruth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MacKay AFC's zone, Preston Darnell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Ruth came out of the goal and Preston Darnell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Preston Darnell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ariel Ruth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Preston Darnell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Ruth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Dugan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute of the match MyBigBoca got a corner. MacKay AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonia Cope ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Preston Darnell got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ariel Ruth quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. MyBigBoca's Preston Darnell got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MyBigBoca fully deserved thier win.
