After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Lu Sen Ting managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tidehead's supporters rose to their feet, but Lu Sen Ting was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lou Bergman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lou Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lou Bergman having to interfere. The Vauquelin CN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tidehead were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremias Rios was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tracy Legault in the 53rd minute of play forced Vauquelin CN's goalkeeper Lou Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredric Lebel's late challenge caught a Tidehead's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredric Lebel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vauquelin CN's Fredric Lebel got a free kick in the 74th minute. The supporters of Tidehead booed when Vauquelin CN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Granville Askew didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lou Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes in the game, Corozo Toranzo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lou Bergman having to interfere. Jeremias Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lou Bergman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. After 93 played minutes Vauquelin CN got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Lebel. Tidehead's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
