Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fredric Lebel started the match with the kick off. Damon Vernadeau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olin Rubio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Malcolm Campbell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lou Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Valle in the 7th minute of play. Olin Rubio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mack Holley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Valle struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Lou Bergman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vancouver AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Dawkins in the 11th minute of play forced Vauquelin CN's goalkeeper Lou Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Allison during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Vauquelin CN got a freekick which was hit by Santos Allison. After 20 played minutes Vauquelin CN got a freekick which was hit by Damon Vernadeau. After having played for 23 minutes, Roman Dawkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vancouver AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Dawkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Watson during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vancouver AFC's Anibal Watson got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Roman Dawkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Roman Dawkins lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Lou Bergman. In the 36th minute, Malcolm Campbell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 minutes of play, Vancouver AFC's Anibal Watson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lou Bergman was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Dawkins made a kick off. Lou Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Valle in the 57th minute of play. Pedro Grubb charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Grubb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vauquelin CN getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Pedro Grubb hit a great ball. Marcel Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lou Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vauquelin CN's Shannon McKinnon got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Anibal Watson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Roman Dawkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lou Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilaire Boulanger, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shannon McKinnon during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Vauquelin CN got a freekick which was hit by Shannon McKinnon. 87 minutes into the match, Vauquelin CN's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Dawkins came free, but Lou Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vancouver AFC were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Vauquelin CN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roman Dawkins took the corner. The corner ended in Roman Dawkins almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vauquelin CN's Lou Bergman did a great save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Vancouver AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
