Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SC Dillon's Shon Vinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Stringer in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Leonardo Charlebois managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Dillon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Charlebois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SC Dillon booed when Colonsay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ward Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Miguel Sierra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Edmond Sample was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The penalty shot was made by Allen Shannon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Dillon's Shon Vinson. 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Ward Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colonsay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Dillon the free kick. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colonsay's goalkeeper Eloi McPherson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonardo Charlebois struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Eloi McPherson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Dillon. In the 31stth minute of the game Leonardo Charlebois who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colonsay's Eloi McPherson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Jules Stringer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shon Vinson was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Isidro Fitzgerald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jules Stringer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Shon Vinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kelly Boggs hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jules Stringer in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shon Vinson saved SC Dillon from getting behind. Isidro Fitzgerald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Shon Vinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, SC Dillon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Charlebois to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes, SC Dillon's Shannon Burr shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eloi McPherson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Dillon reached it. Eloi McPherson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Charlebois in the 96th minute of the match. Doyle Faucher charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doyle Faucher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Colonsay getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Doyle Faucher hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Colonsay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
