But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitchel Richmond couldn't finish the play. Shawn Brennan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bryce Deleon came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Alfonso Davis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryce Deleon couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Bryce Deleon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Brennan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Alfonso Davis FC defense, Uriel Raymond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfred McKay. The Alfonso Davis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfred McKay should have stopped the shot.
