An unexpectedly hard shot by Fre Uyterhelcht in the 10th minute of play forced CS Impact de Montreal's goalkeeper Demetrio Berardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augustus Combs in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Augustus Combs might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yetkiner Dilsaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augustus Combs ran back to his position shaking his head. Augustus Combs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Siim Rodin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Yetkiner Dilsaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Curtis Duclos put in a rough tackle. In the 78th minute, one of CS Impact de Montreal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CS Impact de Montreal. Skidegate's Yetkiner Dilsaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Dupre in the 93rd minute of play. Josh Glenn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yetkiner Dilsaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Skidegate's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
