Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Liberty FC's Mose McLeod started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Mike Carpenter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Saltiris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mose McLeod in the 8th minute of play forced Bolton Wanderers's goalkeeper Joshua Buck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stamatis Saltiris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerrell Platt in the 10th minute of play. Joshua Buck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liberty FC. Stamatis Saltiris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Achin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Stamatis Saltiris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Carpenter in the 25th minute of play. When Guillaume McKay fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liberty FC's protests and gave Guillaume McKay a yellow card for diving instead. Guillaume McKay hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Stamatis Saltiris came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Bolton Wanderers's Alexandre Achin. But to his dismay, Alexandre Achin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Stamatis Saltiris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Carpenter in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Liberty FC's Rosario Stubbs got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Achin in the 32nd minute of play forced Liberty FC's goalkeeper Stamatis Saltiris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liberty FC's Stamatis Saltiris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerrell Platt in the 34th minute of play. Stamatis Saltiris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Carpenter, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Dario Calloway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Joshua Buck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeramy Plourde during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Liberty FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeramy Plourde. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mike Carpenter to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Bolton Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Jesse Benson. With a little luck, Liberty FC's Stamatis Saltiris got control of the ball when Alexandre Achin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Jerrell Platt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stamatis Saltiris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 62 minutes of play Bolton Wanderers's Jesse Benson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Liberty FC booed when Bolton Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesse Benson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match, Mike Carpenter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stamatis Saltiris saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 71st minute Mose McLeod shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Buck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liberty FC's Rosario Stubbs got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Rosario Stubbs off the ground. In the 74th match minute, Liberty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosario Stubbs to maneuver through the defense. Stamatis Saltiris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Carpenter in the 81st minute of play. Alexandre Achin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Stamatis Saltiris made a huge save. After 87 minutes, Mose McLeod mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liberty FC and the Bolton Wanderers players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match was over Bolton Wanderers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Liberty FC throughout the match.
