The supporters of Shouldice booed when DOE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Boileau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shouldice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Caouette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shouldice's Levi Willett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklyn Courcelle in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklyn Courcelle in the 37th minute of play forced Shouldice's goalkeeper Levi Willett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Brain Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levi Willett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Caouette who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Léopold Crain when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 48th minute Brain Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levi Willett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franklyn Courcelle got free with Levi Willett in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Brain Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levi Willett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
