Spectators: 8478 (Terracing: 6360, Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 169) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amos Thurman kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Ruel defense, Gaston Greenwood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuan Ventura. The Ruel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuan Ventura should have stopped the shot. Ruel's Tuan Ventura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Ruel from getting a goal against them. Phillip Farmer hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Ira Khan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mossbank's Raphaël Lebrun. Raphaël Lebrun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Ira Khan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raphaël Lebrun was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19thth minute of the game Ira Khan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mossbank's Raphaël Lebrun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th match minute, Mossbank was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thierry Trudeau to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Ira Khan made a precise shot to the right of Raphaël Lebrun. Mossbank's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Raphaël Lebrun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ira Khan, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Raphaël Lebrun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colby Quinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raphaël Lebrun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colby Quinn in the 26th minute of the match. Ruel's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Amos Thurman 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. In the 40th minute of the match, Gaston Greenwood got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tuan Ventura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With his leg Tuan Ventura managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Mossbank's Gaston Greenwood fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ira Khan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruel's supporters rose to their feet, but Ira Khan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphaël Lebrun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ira Khan to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Ira Khan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mossbank's Raphaël Lebrun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amos Thurman might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tuan Ventura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amos Thurman ran back to his position shaking his head. Mossbank's Raphaël Lebrun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ira Khan in the 61st minute of play. Gaston Greenwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuan Ventura having to interfere. Tuan Ventura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Thurman in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Amos Thurman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuan Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Greenwood in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tuan Ventura saved Ruel from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Greenwood in the 75th minute of play forced Ruel's goalkeeper Tuan Ventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colby Quinn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Luis Duran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Tuan Ventura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the match, Ira Khan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raphaël Lebrun, 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ruel players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mossbank.
