Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ira Khan kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Achin got free with Tuan Ventura in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ira Khan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuan Ventura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Carpenter, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Mike Carpenter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ruel getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Marcelino Riggs hit a great ball. Bolton Wanderers's Mike Carpenter got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Ira Khan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Buck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Carpenter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuan Ventura having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Alexandre Achin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tuan Ventura. Alexandre Achin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 40 minutes, Alexandre Achin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolton Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Achin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tuan Ventura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mike Carpenter's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Alexandre Achin sped through Ruel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tuan Ventura. 47 minutes into the game, Harland McConnell threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ruel's Garret Hemphill quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Mike Carpenter made the kick off in the second half. Colby Quinn struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Joshua Buck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruel. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Mike Carpenter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolton Wanderers's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Carpenter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tuan Ventura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mike Carpenter in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tuan Ventura saved Ruel from getting behind. After 69 minutes of play, Bolton Wanderers's Mike Carpenter made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tuan Ventura was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the match, Ruel's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Carpenter came free, but Tuan Ventura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Jerrell Platt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuan Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83rd play minutes Mike Carpenter shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Tuan Ventura and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Ruel booed when Bolton Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesse Benson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bolton Wanderers's Josue Pham got a free kick in the 90th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bolton Wanderers had played much better football throughout.
